PROJECT SUMMARY:
The Shoreham Solar Farm is a 9.5MWac fixed-tilt solar photovoltaic facility in pre-construction in Shoreham, NY. The project will generate clean, safe solar energy with zero emissions, and will displace approximately 12,644 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions each year. The project will not produce any noise, and a vegetative buffer will be installed around the perimeter of the project site to protect the local viewshed and maintain the rural character of the area. Following the end of the project's useful life, the site will be restored to its original condition. The project has received site plan approval and is currently in the pre-construction phase.
