Who We Are
Renewable Energy Long Island (reLI), established in 2003, is a membership-based, 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization promoting clean, sustainable energy use and generation on Long Island. reLI is committed to accelerate the transition to a 100% renewable energy economy. We educate the public, work with local governments and partner with community interest groups to bring about the shifts necessary to enable widespread adoption of renewable energy. Where We Work
reLI is based out of East Hampton, New York. As a coastal community on the front lines of climate change, East Hampton has a vested interest in leading the nation in climate change solutions. reLI played a role in the development and adoption of East Hampton’s 100% renewable energy by 2020 and 2030 policy.
