The NYS Department of Public Service-Long Island is hosting a Public Hearing on PSEG-Long Island's Utility 2.0 Plan in the East Hampton Village Emergency Services Building (1 Cedar St., East Hampton, NY, 11937) to discuss PSEG-LI's “Utility of the Future Long Range Plan” for our town and Long Island. Part of the plan is to install several polluting, oil-burning power plants on the South Fork. We do not need these "peaker" plants. There are alternative proposals to provide power with renewable energy and battery storage technology.
Please come down to the Village Emergency Services Building and tell PSEG Long Island that you are serious about renewable energy, and that they need to change their energy plan.
