Meet local businesses who have solutions for a cleaner planet, learn about ways to save money while reducing your carbon footprint, and discover what local environmental organizations are doing to lead the way to a cleaner East End. Enjoy healthy snacks and celebrate our amazing planet.

Current participants include Tesla, Mary Woltz of Bees’ Needs, Querencia Studio, Citizens Climate Lobby, Peconic Land Trust, Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center, Surfrider Foundation East End Chapter, The Venus Project, Wastewater Works Inc., Plan Bee Balms, The Radiance Project, Lexy Ho-Tai’s Kookerville, and more to be announced. Plus entertainment by World Music trio Son Mundial (Bill Smith, Steve Shaughnessy, and Rodney Harris).

Call to action! Bring a bag of materials to up-cycle & create your own Kooker! Lexy Ho-Tai, 2017 Artist-in-Resdience at The Watermill Center returns for another Kookerville adventure with the community. Transformable materials can include fabric, wire, string, yarn, beads, cardboard & plastic recyclables, shells, acorns branches and other found materials.

Additionally, bring us your unused plastic straws for “The Last Straw”, a collaborative mosaic project to safely dispose of these unwanted drinking tools!
