South Shore Community Meeting on LNG Terminal

 LNG Community Meeting

The City Government of Long Beach, Long Island is unanimously opposing the Port Ambrose liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, which would endanger NY and NJ's shores, put marine ecosystems at risk and incentivize fracking throughout the northeast. They have written a letter to Governor Cuomo asking him to veto the project.

The Sane Energy Project will hold a Town Hall meeting on December 8, 2014 to learn more about the project and to hear city officials talk about why they are opposing the project.
