The NYS Department of Public Service is seeking comments from the public and other interested persons, and will hold public statement hearings, concerning the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP or Plan). The IRP was prepared by PSEG Long Island LLC (PSEG LI or Service Provider), and provided by the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) to the Department on April 24, 2017.

The purpose of the IRP includes forecasting future load and energy use in the LIPA service territory, identifying supply and demand side resources to meet load, and evaluating alternative resources that could deliver reliable energy to customers.
