 Join environmental activists, labor leaders, & elected officials to tell Governor Cuomo and LIPA that we're ready for an offshore wind revolution!

Background: the Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) is selecting projects from Requests for Proposals to increase renewable energy generation for Long Island. Among them are a 90 megawatt and an additional 210 MW offshore wind farm east of Montauk, along with battery storage and peak demand reductions on the South Fork. The Federal government is leasing a new offshore wind energy area off the western end of Long Island for future offshore wind development in New York State. In the face of global climate change, and in keeping with the State’s goal of 50% renewable energy by 2030, environmental groups, business & labor leaders, and the public have been voicing support for LIPA and Governor Cuomo to choose clean offshore wind power to meet our energy needs.
