Anti-Fracking Kick-Off Meeting

New York is being targeted by the oil and gas industry for fracking for natural gas in the Marcellus Shale, which underlies large parts of the state. In fact, leases have already been signed in the state and are pending the governor’s approval. The Cuomo Administration could decide any day that fracking could move forward in New York.

We can stop this from happening. Governor Cuomo has the opportunity to ban fracking for good in New York state, and we need him to do the right thing and keep our state safe. Come to our Kick-off Meeting at the Cold Spring Harbor Public Library on September 17th at 7pm to find out how you can help pressure Cuomo to put a ban on fracking!

New York has some of the best drinking water in the country. We know the facts about fracking and we’ve seen the consequences. Our water and health is too precious to mess with. Get involved in this pivotal fight and protect our public health for generations to come. Have friends that would be interested? Bring them too! RSVP Here
