Most homes on Long Island are wasting hundreds of dollars each year on unnecessarily high electricity and heating bills while contributing to harmful air pollution and climate change. Learn how you can lower or even eliminate your utility bills by upgrading your home with energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Find out what financial incentives and initiatives are available from your Town, County, and Federal Government and how you can help your community in the urgently needed transition to 100% clean and renewable energy sources.
Program Presenter: Gordian Raacke, Executive Director of Renewable Energy Long Island, (reLI), RenewableEnergyLongIsland.org, a not-forprofit organization working toward a 100% renewable energy future. Advocating for clean energy since 1993, Gordian is regarded as a trusted expert by the media and elected officials. He holds a Civil Engineering degree and lives in a solar-powered home in East Hampton.
