Bio: Julia Bovey

Julia Bovey is an independent consultant advising organizations to advance and deploy renewable energy.
She has worked on clean energy policy from four perspectives: non-profit advocacy at the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Conservation Law Foundation, renewable project development at First Wind, national reform at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and, most recently, state oversight at the New York Department of Public Service, where directed the DPS Long Island office and was part of the team developing New York’s “Reforming the Energy Vision” goals and policies.
She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two sons.
