ClimateTools & Clean Energy Leadership Task Force
The Clean Energy Leadership Task Force was established
to provide Long Island municipalities with information on less polluting energy
technologies and to clarify the financial incentive programs available for
adopting them. Local governments will lead by example and act as role
models to the general public by demonstrating that technologies are available
now to achieve energy efficiency goals for both buildings and vehicle
fleets. Click here to access the ClimateTools Resource pages
The New York State Attorney General and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) have announced the availability of $1.8 million for the installation of solar energy systems on government buildings on Long Island and throughout the State.
